Create Art in the Chapel at Dix Park!
Saori is hand weaving that emphasizes creativity and expression. In this class participants will make their own loom, create Saori weavings, and learn how to turn their weavings into unique woven jewelry.
Instructor: Brandy Godsil
The program is geared for all ages. Due to the materials and processes used in this class we recommend participants be in 3rd grade or order, for younger participants parent or guardian supervision is required.
This program is free thanks to Dix Park Conservancy donors and our partners at Artspace.

Tickets: Participation is limited. Registration is required. Registration opens one week in advance at 12:00 pm.

Currently, portions of Dorothea Dix Park, including some outdoor areas where programs and events occur, have uneven surfaces and are not fully accessible. Accessibility is a primary focus for early park improvements and all future planning and development.
Parking: Accessible parking spaces are available in all lots.
Restrooms: Indoor accessible restrooms are available in the Chapel. Accessible port-a-johns are located at the Big Field and Flowers Field.
