City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources invites you to join the Dix Park planning team on a walking tour to envision the future of Dorothea Dix Park. The draft Master Plan will be our guide. Explore different areas of the park, learn about the ideas presented in the Master Plan and become a part of Dix Park’s future.
Please Note, this is a 2.5 hour, 3.2 mile walking tour. Walking up hills, in grass and on uneven surfaces will be necessary. There are no bathrooms in the park and no access to drinkable water, so please plan to bring a water bottle. The tour will be canceled and rescheduled if there is inclement weather.
There are limited number of spaces available for each tour. You MUST pre-register for this program.
