Join PRCR and Dix Park staff at the first Pop-PupAlooza, a pop-up dog park at Dix Park! During this pop up event, dogs will be allowed off leash while at our specially crafted dog park. There will be plenty of fun for dogs and their owners! The dog park features four acres for dogs to roam, and a small dog area, too!
For the humans, Philly Cheesesteaks, Mr. Softee Ice Cream and Dingo Dog Brewery will be at the park making sure you stay fed and hydrated while you play with your best friend. Bring your own lawn chairs! We'll have a few lawn games set up, or bring your own. There will be fun raffles for pet (and human) prizes every 1/2 hour!
Pet-themed vendors will be at the park, too, so you can purchase a new toy for your pup, learn about dog health & safety, adoption, and more! Vendors include (more to come):
- Redd Waggin Pet Treat Truck
- Sit Mean Sit
- Raleigh Animal Control
- Bone Appetit Bakery
- Shiloh Animal Hospital
- Jord Hund - The Most Stylish and Earthy Dog Accessories
- Mutt Stuff
- Binky and Bell
- 4 Paws Pet Sitting
Event Time: 12:00pm - 6:00pm
