Living In Color: The Art Around You
Take a closer look and connect with the art around you!
Event Details
Dix Park in partnership with Raleigh Film and Art Festival presents a curated Black History Month artist exhibition showcasing a riveting display of visual art representing the experience of people of color living in the south.
We invite the community to an interactive gallery day created in partnership with NC State University students. All-ages activities offer new ways to examine and engage with the exhibit artwork. A scavenger hunt leads visitors through the gallery to make observations and personal connections with the art. Visitors can also participate in a community art piece inspired by the exhibit by creating on your own small canvas to add to the larger picture!
