Fall Jazz Brunch

Enjoy free local jazz music against the picturesque backdrop of Raleigh’s skyline. Our Fall Jazz Brunch at Dorothea Dix Park will feature music from Sidecar Social Club complemented by local food truck fare and adult brunch beverages.

  • Food Trucks: Tenco Coffee, Tacos Las Gringas, Kono, Bo's Kitchen, and Goodberrys
  • Adult Beverage Vendors: Trophy Brewing and Naughty Penguin Ciderhouse

Fall Jazz Brunch is presented by City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources, Dorothea Dix Park Conservancy, and NC State University.

Please RSVP This event is free and registration is not required, but it does help us to know how many guests to expect and we can contact you with important information including event changes due to weather conditions.

Know Before You Go:

Food, Beverages + Restrooms:  Pack a picnic or purchase from the food trucks! Beer and wine are permitted at this event. Please be responsible! There is no drinking water available at the park, and we only have port-a-johns, so come prepared.

What to Bring: A blanket or camp chairs to sit on. Lawn games to play.

Dogs: Dogs are permitted, but please use your best judgment regarding whether your pooch will enjoy the show. All dogs must be leashed, and please clean up after them!

Weather: If we need to postpone due to inclement weather, we will communicate through Eventbrite ( Please RSVP) and post on the Dix Park Facebook Page.

Getting There + Parking: From Western Boulevard, turn onto Hunt Drive and enter Dorothea Dix Park. At the stop sign, turn left onto Umstead Drive. Follow the signs to parking. The event will be held on Harvey Hill.

Accessibility
Dorothea Dix Park continues to work to be accessible and welcoming for visitors with disabilities and limited mobility. Accessible Parking with reserved spaces are available in all lots on campus. Handicap accessible port-a-johns are located at the Big Field and Flowers Field. Portions of Dorothea Dix Park, including some areas where programs and events occur, have uneven surfaces are not ADA accessible at this time.
