Explore Dix Park: Bird Walk

A man and a woman with binoculars Bird Watching at Dix Park

*** CANCELED ***

All Programs Canceled Through April 30. We will work to reschedule a Bird Walk in the Fall.

It's spring and the birds are singing! Grab your binoculars and scopes and join us at Dorothea Dix Park to look for and identify birds. Many of the birds we see and hear in the spring are migrants returning north from their wintering grounds in the tropics. Dr. Moorman will lead a bird walk through the Dorothea Dix campus in search of spring migrants and other birds.
