Before we know it, spring will be in the air! That means our kites will be in the air too! Join us for Flight Day at Dorothea Dix Park, in partnership with YMCA of the Triangle Y Guides.
Bring your kites or other homemade flying machines and rockets and enjoy spending time with your friends, family, and Y Guides tribe in the beautiful outdoors. There will be food trucks, kite vendors, and awesome folks from Y Guides and YMCA of the Triangle!
Please register if you plan to attend this free event. Having a count of how many people to expect helps us plan and in the case of inclement weather, we will email all registered participants.

Accessibility
Dorothea Dix Park continues to work to be accessible and welcoming for visitors with disabilities and limited mobility. Accessible Parking with reserved spaces is available in all lots on campus. Handicap accessible port-a-johns are located at the Big Field and Flowers Field. Portions of Dorothea Dix Park, including some areas where programs and events occur, have uneven surfaces are not ADA accessible at this time.
