Yappy Hour Community Conversations

Dog Park People standing around talking

*** CANCELED ***

We will reschedule our Yappy Hours at a later date. Stay tuned...

Yappy Hour - community conversations about Dog Parks in the future of Dorothea Dix Park

Let's get together to help plan for future off-leash areas at Dix Park! The current dog park area at Dix Park was designated as temporary from the start knowing that the former athletic field location is part of a Phase 1 project area, the Gateway Plaza and Play. Our Yappy Hours offer dog owners opportunities to meet with Dix Park staff and provide feedback so we can work together to create great dog park spaces as the park evolves.

Yappy Hour Dates

  • Saturday, March 14 | CANCELED
  • Thursday, March 19 | CANCELED

While smaller in scale than our Pop PupAlooza events, we will have a couple food and beer vendors at Yappy Hour. The dog park has some seating and you are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets. No outside alcohol allowed.
