An Intro to Bicylcing in Groups and on Roads
Event Details
This program is designed for adults who are comfortable riding but want to build confidence riding on streets and with others.
In a supportive and low-stress environment, participants will learn the basics of safe road positioning, communication, and group ride etiquette. The session combines instruction with practice so you can experience how to ride predictably, share the road responsibly.
Bring your own bike and helmet, and come ready to ride. By the end of the program, you’ll leave with practical skills and confidence to join community rides, commute more comfortably, and enjoy the freedom of riding with others.
This free program is hosted by Oaks and Spokes, a nonprofit dedicated to making Raleigh a city where walking and biking are safe, accessible, and part of everyday life.
