Get ready for a spooktacular night under the stars hosted by Dix Park and NCMA!
Enjoy trick-or-treating with the Thomas Dambo trolls, tasty bites from local vendors, and plenty of festive fun for all ages. As the sun sets, settle in for a double feature on the big screen: Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie followed by the chilling 2018 Halloween with Jamie Lee Curtis.

Help support Dix Park event staff ensuring everyone has a fun and safe experience and the park is clean and green after the event!
Know Before You Go
- Costumes!
- Low lawn chairs or blankets
- Flashlights or headlamps
- Food and non-alcoholic drinks permitted
- The event area is grass covered and has uneven surfaces. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.

- Smoking and vaping
- While well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed, we recommend leaving them at home for this event.

- Via Western Boulevard: Enter at Hunt Drive
- Via Centennial Parkway: Enter at Blair Drive
- Via Lake Wheeler Road: Enter at Goode Street
- Follow Signs towards Flowers Field
- Parking is only permitted in paved or gravel lots.
- Do not park in the grass or on the side of roads.
In the case of inclement weather, the event may be postponed or canceled.
In the event of severe weather during the event, the park will be cleared and visitors will be asked to return to their vehicles.

Dix Park continues to strive to be accessible and welcoming for visitors, including those with disabilities. Currently, portions of Dix Park, including this event area, are grass covered, have uneven surfaces and are not fully accessible. Accessibility is a primary focus for early park improvements and all future planning and development.
Event Site: Flowers Field is grass covered with uneven ground throughout.
Parking: Recommended ADA/accessible parking area is near the Magnolia Room at 1700 Umstead Dr. All paved parking lots have ADA parking paces.
Restrooms: ADA temporary restrooms are located the event site. Indoor restrooms are available at The Stone Houses seven days a week from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm and at Gipson Play Plaza.
Service Animals: Service animals are welcome in the park.
Programs & Events: Raleigh Parks Inclusion Services works with community members to support participation.
