Summer Solstice Sunrise Yoga

Celebrate the longest day of the year with yoga instructors from CorePower Yoga, as they lead us through a sunrise yoga session. Watch the sun rise over downtown Raleigh on the first day of summer as you breathe, stretch, relax and enjoy the peacefulness of nature. This session is suitable for all ages and abilities. Previous knowledge of yoga is not necessary.

CorePower Yoga has over 200 locations nationwide including 4 in the RDU area: Village District (Raleigh), Stonehenge Shopping Center (North Raleigh), Waverly Place (Cary), and Eastgate Shopping Center (Chapel Hill).

Time: 6:00 - 7:00 am 

Please arrive at 5:45am, and find a spot in Flowers Field. We'll get started a little after 6:00 am.

Registration: Free! Registration is encouraged so that you receive important class information and weather cancelation notifications.

Dorothea Dix Park continues to strive to be accessible and welcoming for visitors, including those with disabilities. Currently, portions of Dorothea Dix Park, including some areas where programs and events occur, have uneven surfaces and are not fully accessible. Accessibility is a primary focus for early park improvements and all future planning and development.

Parking: Accessible parking spaces are available in all lots.

Restrooms: Accessible port-a-johns are located at the Big Field and Flowers Field. Indoor accessible restrooms are available in the newly renovated Chapel.
