2023 Gifts of Gold student art exhibit

Event Details

Gifts of Gold is an annual art exhibition of student-made artwork presented by Raleigh Arts and United Arts Council of Raleigh & Wake County and Wake County Public School System.

Nearly 200 Wake County students from over 90 WCPSS schools, ranging from kindergarteners to high school seniors, are represented in the exhibition.

Gifts of Gold is a visual component of Pieces of Gold, a performing arts event that features over 1,000 students performing in a packed auditorium of parents, teachers, and community leaders in the Memorial Auditorium at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts.

  • Via Western Boulevard: Enter at Hunt Drive or S. Boylan Avenue
  • Via Lake Wheeler Road: Enter at Umstead Drive
  • Follow signs towards Chapel
  • Parking is located in the lots next to and in front of the Chapel. ADA parking is available.

Currently, portions of Dix Park, including some areas where programs and events occur, have uneven surfaces and are not fully accessible. Accessibility is a primary focus for all park improvements and development.

Parking: ADA parking spaces for the Chapel are to the left and out front of the building. ADA parking spaces are available in all lots.

Chapel Entrance: Ramp and ADA push button activated door is located to the left of the front of the building. 

Restrooms: Indoor accessible restrooms are available in the Chapel.
