Event Details
Bike Bonanza is the annual kick-off for the City of Raleigh’s Bike Month celebrations. It is a time to join other cycling enthusiasts, friends, and community members for a few hours of fun and biking related activities.
• A bike tune-up station
• A bike decorating station hosted by vendors
• Free helmets
• Free e-bike test rides
• A guided ride led by Oaks and Spokes
• Event t-shirts
• And popsicles for the first 150 guests!
Vendors
As part of Bike Bonanza we welcome and invite organizations from the area to join as vendors. The requirements for a vendor are you must provide a good or service or information related to cycling, sustainability, or healthy living and offer at least some of this information/goods/services for free. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible as space is limited.

Know Before You Go
Harvey Hill Address: Cranmer Drive, Raleigh, NC 27603
- Via Western Boulevard: Enter at S. Boylan Avenue or Hunt Drive
- Via Lake Wheeler Road: Enter at Umstead Drive or Goode Street
- Follow Signs towards Harvey Hill
Event Parking: Lot C at the Chapel
- Parking is only permitted in paved or gravel lots.
- Do not park in the grass or on the side of roads.
In the case of inclement weather, the event may be postponed or canceled.
- Temporary restrooms will be available at the event site with ADA accessible facilities included.
- Indoor restrooms can be found at the Gipson Play Plaza, House of Many Porches Market, and the Stone House Visitor Center.
Dix Park continues to strive to be accessible and welcoming for visitors, including those with disabilities. Currently, portions of Dix Park, including some areas where programs and events occur, have uneven surfaces and are not fully accessible. Accessibility is a primary focus for all park improvements and development.
Event Site: This program takes place in the grass on Harvey Hill. Walking from parking areas to the program site is necessary.
Parking: ADA parking spaces are available in all paved parking lots. The nearest accessible parking is located on Palmer Dr. near the House of Many Porches Market.
Pathways: All pathways and sidewalks around Gipson Play Plaza, House of Many Porches Market and the Stone Houses are accessible with curb cuts.
Restrooms: ADA temporary restrooms provided at the event site. Indoor restrooms are located at the Stone Houses, House of Many Porches, and Gipson Play Plaza.
