Free Event Parking
City of Raleigh Downtown Parking Decks
- Moore Square Parking Deck – 223 S. Wilmington Street
- Red Hat/City Center Parking Deck – 429 S. Wilmington Street
- Take a Free Event Shuttle to Dix Park!
NC State Centennial Campus
- Only use designated event parking lots and decks!
- Enter from Centennial Parkway at Oval Drive or Achievement Drive
- Enter from Avent Ferry Road at Varsity Drive
- Parking lots are off Main Campus Drive and Initiative Way
- Designated Parking Decks are:
- Partners Way Deck – 851 Partners Way
- Oval West Deck – 914 Partners Way
- No shuttle service from Centennial Campus event parking – walk only to Dix Park
- It is approximately a .6-.9 miles/10-17 minute walk from event parking to the Big Field
Free Event Shuttles
- Shuttles pick up from Moore Square Park
- Shuttles drop off at intersection of Centennial Parkway and Blair Drive
- It is approximately .2 miles/5 min walk up Blair Dr. from the shuttle drop off to Big Field
- Shuttles from downtown to Dix Park will run from 5:30 - 9:00 pm.
- Following the fireworks, shuttles will resume until all attendees have been returned to Moore Square Park
- ADA accessible shuttles available
Walk + Bike + Scooter
- Use the Rocky Branch Greenway to enter the park at Hunt Drive and Western Boulevard
- Use the Centennial Bikeway Connector to enter the park at Blair Drive and Centennial Parkway
- Bike corral parking staffed by Oaks and Spokes volunteers will be at the intersection at Hunt Drive and Umstead Drive
- Scooter drop-off zones during the event are located at Hunt Drive and Western Boulevard, and at the Family / Rideshare Lot

- Chapel Parking Lot
- GPS Address: 1030 Richardson Drive
- Enter Dix Park at S. Boylan Avenue from Western Boulevard
Accessibility
- ADA/Accessible Parking available at Dix Park
- GPS Address: 1251 Goode St, Raleigh, NC 27603
- Enter Dix Park at Goode Street from Lake Wheeler Road
- ADA Shuttle picks up from designated parking lots and takes attendees to and from the Big Field
- Accessible pathway in the Big Field
- ADA temporary restrooms at the Big Field

Food + Activities Details
Family Activity Zone (6-9 pm)
- Art activities with Artsplosure
- Water slides, scavenger hunt, and a foam party pit
- We recommend families bring a change of clothes for the kids!
Food Truck Court (6-10 pm)
- 40 food trucks curated by Shop Local Raleigh
- Open throughout the entire event
Stage Entertainment (6-9:30 pm)
- 6 -9 pm | Music with DJ Rickey Smith
- 7pm + 8 pm | Community Dance led by Cuquig
- 9-9:30 pm | ABC11 Live and Firework Countdown
Know Before You Go
- Pack light and plan accordingly for the distances between event parking and shuttles (or Family/Rideshare Drop-off) and the Big Field
- The event area includes a grass covered field with uneven surfaces
- Water filling stations are available
- Port-a-johns with ADA accessible facilities will be the only restrooms at the event
- No shuttle service from Centennial Campus event parking – walk only to Dix Park
- Last shuttle leaves Moore Square Park at 9:00 pm
What to Bring
- A refillable water bottle
- Blanket and/or camp chairs for seating
- Food and non-alcoholic drinks, small cooler or bag permitted
- Sunscreen, hats, bug spray, flashlights and closed-toe shoes are recommended
- Personal sized umbrellas are permitted
- Pack light. If riding a shuttle, all belongings should fit on your lap so we have room for everyone
What is Not Allowed
- Personal fireworks or sparklers
- Alcohol
- Weapons of any kind
- Smoking & Vaping
- Drug use
- Open flames and grilling
- Tents, canopies
- Drones
- Littering
- Please leave pets safe at home!
